Media Center: Riyadh – Abdo Qahl

The Secretary-General of the Saudi Journalists Association, Dr. Abdullah bin Abdul Rahman Al-Jahlan, praised the speedy response of the directors of the authority’s 15 branches and their positive movement in line with the aspirations of the main center, as they began planning for the implementation of various events and platform and field activities, especially with regard to the programs of the media salon launched by the president Executive Director of the General Authority for Audiovisual Media, Ms. Israa Asiri, on Tuesday, September 25, 2021 AD, in the presence of the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Authority, Mr. Khalid bin Hamad Al-Malik, and male and female media professionals in the Kingdom.
Dr. Al-Jahlan indicated that the programs and activities are in harmony with the salon’s objectives, most notably:
* Enabling everyone to exchange experiences between media pioneers and young men and women, students, graduates, and media enthusiasts.
* Strengthening relations between the media family through professional, social, fraternal and friendly dialogues.
* Holding meetings for specialists to discuss the talk of the media.
* Hosting national leaders to discuss aspects of cooperation and integration in the service of all parties, the media and the media
* Hosting visitors to the Kingdom of intellectuals, male and female media figures, to familiarize them with the Kingdom’s projects and programs and the pace of achieving Vision 2030 programs and the paths of (the Green Saudi Initiative) and that the Kingdom intends to reach carbon neutrality by 2060.

* Establishing fraternal forums in honor of male and female media professionals on occasions and seasons to be determined according to a timetable.
It is expected that about 10,000 media professionals, academics, students of media and communication, amateurs and followers will attend the activities of the media salon – directly – during 2022 AD.
