How to use it

She explained that the most important advantages of laughing gas is that it works quickly, and the patient may reach complete relaxation within two to three minutes, and the effect of laughing gas disappears within a period not exceeding 5 minutes, and the gas is extracted directly through the respiratory system, so the patient is allowed to exit immediately after using it. The gas does not dissolve in blood or tissues for those who suffer from allergies.

She added: Among the other technologies that are used in the center is the technology of 3D digital devices, which is a three-dimensional system used in dental clinics through the use of an oral scanner, where it digitally measures and transfers mouth parts and details to the dental laboratory technician who receives the digital information and then it is transferred either The 3D printer for the production of dental molds, which is used in the manufacture of dental implants or therapeutic devices.

She explained that the orthodontic also uses digital information by converting it to a CAD-CAM device, which is a digital device for making dental fixtures.

3 centers

She indicated d. Hamda Al-Mismar indicated that dental services are provided in the Health Authority in 12 centers, in addition to all hospitals, and by 2019 the service will be provided in 3 new centers, Umm Suqeim Health Center, Abu Hail Health Center, in addition to Al Qusais Health Center, bringing the total of dental clinics to 14 clinic. She also indicated that the dental clinics in Dubai Health last year received 167,700 patients who received their treatments in all specialties, including the general practitioner clinic, the oral and dental health clinic, the pulp clinic, the orthodontics and prosthodontics clinic, periodontal diseases and oral and maxillofacial surgery.
