The Saudi Oral and Dental Health Association, which is supervised by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties, will hold a ceremony to launch its work and launch its new identity, in the presence of a large number of specialists and professionals in various health fields, at the association’s headquarters in Riyadh.
Member of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Oral and Dental Health Association, Asmaa Saeed Al-Zahrani, said that during the inauguration ceremony, the general assembly would be held to review the strategic plan and the financial plan of the association, and to vote on the annual decisions of the strategic plan for the fiscal year 2020.
She added that the association is a specialized, non-profit organization that is managed by a group of young consultants and specialists in the field of oral and dental health, and it targets a large segment of society, especially the segment of consultants, doctors, specialists in dentistry, public health and all other medical specialties. across the Kingdom now and the Middle East in the future.
She indicated that the association is the first association in the Middle East region that seeks to represent and support workers in the field of oral and dental health and care, and to enable them to develop scientific and professional development through holding conferences, providing scientific seminars, workshops, training programs, and supporting scientific research in the field of specialization to improve the quality of preventive dental services. and public health in the community by consolidating and strengthening the role of oral and dental health in the primary health care system.
It is noteworthy that the decision to establish the association was issued on May 20, 2018 by the Board of Trustees of the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties. The association derives its strategic objectives from the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, as it seeks to provide the requirements for improving the quality of health care for the individual and society and provide needs to develop the energies of young people and support them.
